This is my favorite photo of the month because it reminds me of our youngest son. He recently left home for two years and he had to leave behind his faithful dog. The dog is trying to make sense of his world. The dog was used to sleeping with our son so, he has taken up sleeping next to my husband. Recently my husband was out of town and the dog needed someone to sleep with. I am the mom who will let her son have a dog, but I am not the mom who will let her son's dog sleep with her. I told the dog that he had to find a place to sleep. My husband was between trips and had left a suitcase on our son's bed. The dog looked around and made a bed in the suitcase. He slept well all night.............. so did I.

I am honored to have been picked for the Top 3 last week. I am excited about sharing the joy this week.

Lovely shot & quote!
Dogs tend to do that a lot. They're wonderful people to teach us the meaning of 'unconditional love.'
Yes, I said 'Wonderful People' :)
I never had a dog, since I can't keep it at home although both Ma and I love dogs... but my grandmother had one, and he was the smartest, most caring and most understanding thing in the whole world!
Loved this post...
